We are a group of volunteers committed to making our community a better place to live, one bag of trash at a time.

Our Mission

To make our Metropolitan area the cleanest, most litter-free and safest in Colorado.

We are a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit passionate about making Colorado Springs litter-free. Our goal is to solicit and organize volunteers to regularly pick up litter all around the Pikes Peak Region. We will also advocate to local governments, residential and private property owners, on how to better control our litter, particularly in areas that have repeated problems.

Our Work So Far...

  • 5,100 bags of trash collected

  • 111,580 lbs off our streets, trails, and waterways

  • 1,860 needles disposed safely

  • 3,680 volunteer hours

*from October 2023 to June 2026

We ❤ Volunteers!

We believe in supporting the volunteers doing the real work to clean up the city!  After our regular Tuesday pickups, we host a social hour to thank our volunteers, and keep building this community of passionate environmental stewards.

Want to host your own Rubbish Roundup?

I really enjoy participating in the weekly Richard's Rubbish Roundup events. They are fun activities with fun people. Thank you Richard, Sonja, and Mariah for developing and coordinating this extremely worthwhile event that benefits our community.
